The next dinner meeting April 19, 2008. The speaker will be United States Senate Candidate Bob Schaffer. For details go to the Meeting Page.

The Colorado Conservative Union was started during the Reagan era, about 1977. Some of our members were avid workers during his three runs for the presidency. Its goals were then and are now to bring politically conservative people together, about once a quarter. The organization is not single issue. (If you believe that you are conservative--then by Jove, you are.)

CCU is non-partisan, though most of its speakers have been GOPers. We attempt to reach out to similar organizations, and try to work with College Republicans, etc. Our meetings are not fund-raisers, and annual dues continue to be only $20 per year. None of our officers are paid. The core of our being is bringing edifying and interesting speakers and anyone attending can speak up at the Open Forum, a brief part of our meetings. We learned that reasonably priced dinners lend to a warm social feel to our important business--Politics and supporting the 'good guys.'

CCU would be glad to furnish more information. Please call Tom Buchanan 667-6269, Willard Walker 667-1382 or 663-7775, or Ruth Dohrn 667-8829
